Airports In Paris

Paris has two airports - Charles de Gaulle and Orly Airport. These airport serves domestic and international flights. 


Flights to Charles de Gaulle Airport

Charles de Gaulle Airport is located 23km from Paris and the largest airport in France. A taxi ride from the airport to downtown London takes less than one hour and cost approx EUR55. You can also use the RER B train to reach the city centre. Cost of one-way train ticket is EUR10. 


Flights to Orly Airport

Orly Airport is 13km from Paris. A taxi rider from Orly to city centre will take 30 minutes and cost is approx EUR35. A cheparer alternative will be to use the train which cost around EUR12 per way.


Best Time To Visit Paris

Paris is a year round destination. For vibrant summer vibes, June and August are the best months to visit. Unfortunately, summer is also the most crowded time and the most expensive. 

If you want to experience fewer crowds but don't give up on good weather, September and October is the best time. There will be shorter lines at attractions and travellers will get the see the beautiful seasonal foliage. Keep in mind that Paris Fashion Week takes place the last week of September. Hotel rooms may be much harder to find.

In bars and restaurants, you pay for real estate. For accommodation, hostels start from EUR18 for a bed per night, while five-star hotels cost more than EUR500 per night. 


Visa Requirements for Malaysians

Malaysian do not require visa for short visits to France. Visitors can say up to 90 days and passport must be valid for at least six months after arrival in France. 

From late 2022, Malaysians will need to apply online for ETIAS visa waiver in order to visit France.
