Malaysia Airlines only allows passengers with interstate travel approval

Malaysia Airlines will only allows passengers with valid writted approval from Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) for interstate travel to check-in at the airport. This is in line with the Malaysian law to curb the Covid-19 pandemic. 

The Prevention and Control of Infectious Deseases (Measures within the Infected Areas) (No. 5) Regulations 2020 dated 12 May 2020, Rule 6(3) stipulates anyone having to transfer from one areas of infection to another or crossing state borders to obtain written approval from the PDRM prior to travelling, by land or air travel. 

Passengers without written approval from PDRM will not be allowed to cross any airport checkpoints before being allowed to proceed to the airside.
