Sightseeing

Day 1 - Kuala Lumpur to Doha to Istanbul

Assemble at KLIA for your departure flight to the beautiful city of Istanbul. Upon arrival at Istanbul, meet and greet by local guide and start the tour to visit Roman Hippodrome where horse chariot aces and events were held. Proceed to visit the Blue Mosque - Sultan Ahmet Mosque. Then, visit Topkapi Palace - the seat of the Ottoman Empire, after it shifted its capital from Bursa to Istanbul. It is today, a museum palace with a wide collection of Kitchen wares and Porcelains, Treasuries, Royal Antiques, Courtyards, Holy Relics etc. Then lunch will be served follow by departing to Eskihisar and embark on a ferry boat to Yalova to enjoy the countryside drive to Bursa (around 2.5hours). We will check in to our hotel and have our rest.


Day 2 - Bursa to Kusadasi

After breakfast, we will visit Grand Mosque, Green Mosque, Green Mausoleum and the Silk Market where time will be allocated to shop for local souvenirs. After lunch, drive to Kusadasi and visit Turkish Delight & Olive Oil Outlet Center. We will have our free time to shop here followed by hotel check-in then dinner and overnight in Kusadasi.


Day 3 - Kusadasi to Pamukkale

After breakfast, we dirve to Selcuk to visit Ephesus as well as viewing one of the Seven Churches of Revelation, the Temple of Artemis (One of the Seven Wonders of Antiquity) and the Basilica of St. John from a distance, followed by lunch in the township of Selcuk. After lunch we will visit the famous local production center for leather garments whereby after a live Fashion Show time will be allocated for shopping. Drive to Pamukkale, which known as Cotton Castle. Visit Pamukkale, where Calcareous hot springs descending over cliffs have created fascinating travertines in the form of white terrace and basins free time for walking on terraces. Then, visit the ruins of Ancient City of Hierapolis. Enjoy Thermal Spa at hotel. Have dinner and prepare yourself for the following day adventure.


Day 4 - Pamukkale to Konya to Cappadocia

Following breakfast, we will drive to Cappadocia. Lunch will be enroute before arriving in Konya. Konya is the center of the Seljuk Empire as well as the city of Mevlana and his Whirling Dervishes. After visiting the Mevlana Museum, we will continue to Cappadocia which is considered to be one of the natural wonders of the world with its surrealistic geological creation. Visit Oresin Caravanserai, an 13th century outstanding example of the Inns used by traders during the Silk Road. Later on head back to hotel and have your dinner.


Day 5 - Cappadocia

After breakfast, we visit one of the Underground City where early Christians lived secretly in order to survive and keep their faith. Picture stops will be given at the Valley of the Birds and at the foot of the Uchisar Castle. Lunch will be at Avanos Village followed by the famous local pottery work shop. Then visit Dervent Valley & Pasabag Valley which has unique volcanic formations. Then, stop by a local carpet weaving cooperative to see hand-made Turkish carpets. After that, head back to hotel and have dinner.


Day 6 - Cappadocia to Ankara to Bolu

Depart for Ankara after breakfast, the capital of Turkey. Visit Salt Lake on the way there. After lunch, we will visit the Ataturk Mausoleum - the final resting place of Mustafa Kemal Ataturk - Father of modern Turkey. The architecture of the mausoleum is a mix of different styles that represent the various Anatolian civilizations. Then, transfer to Bolu for dinner and later on head to the hotel.


Day 7 - Bolu to Istanbul

After breakfast in hotel, drive to Istanbul. Have a photo opportunity at the Sapanca Lake. Upon arrival, we will then have lunch in a local restaurant. Moving on, visiting the famous Grand Bazaar (or Covered Bazaar). It is one of the largest covered markets in the world with more than 58 streets and 4000 shops, and even has between 250000 and 400000 visitors daily. After dinner, head back to the hotel for rest.


Day 8 - Istanbul to Doha to Kuala Lumpur

After breakfast at the hotel, free at leisure till transfer to airport for your flight back home.
