Sightseeing

Day 1 - Perth to Albany (417km)

Collect your vehicle from Perth & head straight to historic Albany for your first taste of the Great Southern Wine Region. There are a range of wine styles, most notably Shiraz & Riesling. Sample locally grown berries, cheeses, lamb, marron & oysters.


Day 2 - Albany

Spend today exploring this historic town, take a walk on one of the many coastal tracks & make sure you sample the plentiful local produce.


Day 3 - Albany to Denmark (54km)

Drive along the coast to picturesque Denmark. As well as Riesling, Shiraz & Cabernets, you’ll find beautiful forests & beaches. Stop at one of the many wineries along the drive & savour Denmark’s culinary delights & award winning wines.


Day 4 - Denmark to Pemberton (186km)

Visit the Valley of the Giants Tree Top Walk then continue to Pemberton, with its picturesque vineyards. Taste Bordeaux-style wines & locally farmed black truffle, trout & marron.


Day 5 - Pemberton to Margaret River Wine Region (139 km)

Continue on to the Margaret River, stopping at wineries & art galleries in the Blackwood Valley on the way.


Day 6 - Margaret River Wine Region

Day at leisure to explore the fine wineries, beaches & the gourmet delights that the Margaret River region has to offer. Must see attractions of the region include: Busselton Jetty & Underwater Observatory, Cape Naturaliste Lighthouse & the Ngilgi Cave.

Day 7 - Margaret River to Perth (267 km) 

Stop at Leeuwin Estate & the Margaret River Fudge Factory for a final taste of the Margaret River, before your return journey to Perth via the wineries of the Geographer Wine Region. 

Note: Your car is booked until tomorrow and should be returned to the city or airport depot by the same time as it was picked up on day 1 to avoid any additional charges.
