Day 1 - Arrive Hanoi

Upon arrival at Noi Bai International Airport, transfer to your choice of Hanoi hotel.

Day 2 - Heart of Hanoi Highlights Tour (Full Day)

After breakfast, your day starts with pickup from your hotel and a drive to the Tran Quoc Pagoda, the oldest Buddhist temple in Hanoi, which dates back to the 6th century. Learn about the history of early Hanoi as you admire the splendid temple and visit the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, the resting place of Vietnamese leader Ho Chi Minh. Also stop by the One-Pillar Pagoda, a small temple constructed on a single stone pillar to represent a lotus blossom.

Throughout your day, your guide takes you to Hanoi's most incredible landmarks and sights. Visit the Temple of Literature, a beautiful Confucian temple that hosts the Imperial Academy, Vietnam's first national university. 

For lunch, stop by the Old Quarter and dig into mouthwatering dishes at a local restaurant. Depending on the day, take a trip to Bat Trang, a traditional pottery village, or the Ethnology Museum, where you can learn about the 54 ethnic groups of Vietnam.

Before your day comes to an end, take a scenic stroll around Hoan Kiem Lake. Located in the heart of the city, the lake is a center for public life and recreation, and offers panoramic views from every shore. Make your way across a decorated scarlet bridge to Ngoc Son Temple, or the Temple of the Jade Mountain. Your day concludes in the early evening with transportation back to your hotel.

Day 3 - Halong Day Cruise Including Kayaking and Caving (Full Day)

7:30am – 8:00am: You will be met by our hospitable guide and chauffeur with modern minibus at your hotel in Hanoi Old Quarter experiencing 175 km road trip to Halong City (3,5 hours) with a short break en-route.  

12:00pm: Arriving Tuan Chau Harbor, welcome aboard & safety briefing

12:15pm: A gourmet lunch is served in the single-seating restaurant while the most luxurious Halong Cruise is taking you on an odyssey journey wends among remote archipelagoes via crowd avoidance route and opens up views of one stupendous seascapes after another, passing uninhabited islets and outcrops including Stone Dog, Thumb, Duck, Incense Burner, and Cock Fighting.

2:00pm: Exploring Ba Hang (Three Cave), there are options to choose either kayaking or taking a bamboo boat rowed by local people, gently glide through water tunnels into secluded sea lagoons.

3:00pm: Walk up Limestone Mountain to visit Thien Cung Grotto with incredible stalactites and stalagmites.

4:00pm: Returning aboard for coming back to the harbor

4:30pm: Disembark, bus ride back Hanoi. Short break on the way.

8:30pm: Drop-off at your hotel doorstep. Trip ends.

Day 4 - Hoa Lu and Tam Coc Day Tour (Full Day)

Breakfast in hotel. Your first stop will be in Hoa Lu, the ancient capital of Vietnam. Learn about its founding and tenure as the capital. Visit the 2 temples built on the ground of the old royal palace, and find out more about feudal dynasties and historical periods in Vietnamese history.

Continue to Tam Coc, stopping for lunch at a local restaurant along the way. Your meal will include goat meat, which is the area specialty. Then board a boat to Tam Coc, known as the Ha Long Bay on land. See these 3 limestone caves on the Ngo Dong River, and take in the peaceful scenery of limestone mountains, rice paddies, and temples. After visiting Hang Ca, Hang Hai, and Hang Ba, you will begin your trip back to Hanoi.

At the end of the tour, return to Hanoi and get dropped off at your hotel.

Day 5 - Depart Hanoi

After breakfast at hotel, free at leisure until transfer to Noi Bai Airport for your flight home.
