A small town with a deep cultural and religious history, Nikko is a perfect day trip from Tokyo. Start your day with a relaxing drive to this mountain town, passing through Japan’s scenic countryside. Guests will visit the Toshogu Shrine, the temple and mausoleum of Tokugawa Ieyasu, the founder of the mighty Tokugawa Shogunate. Gaze over the beautiful Chuzenji Lake and finish with a visit to Kegon Falls, one of Nikko's most impressive waterfalls.


IMPORTANT

• Child: Age 6-11 years
• Children (ages 0-5 years) will be able to participate for free under the following conditions.
  - An individual seat will not be provided. Please have them sit on the lap of their parent or guardian. If there are seats available, they are welcome to use it, however they will not be getting a priority in seating.
  - An individual meal or snack will not be provided as well.
  - If you would like any of the above for children (ages 0-5 years), please book them as a child.
• The tour schedule is subject to change due to traffic conditions, weather, or other operational reasons.
• As the tour uses a bus for the entire itinerary, arrivals at each site may be delayed due to traffic.
• Vegetarian meals are available and must be requested at the time of booking.
• An earphone guide will be provided to each participant at Nikko Toshogu. However, this may not apply if there are less than 15 participants.
• A fee of JPY 10,000 may be incurred if an earphone guide is lost or damaged.
• Depending on road conditions, the tour may stop at a different parking area (rest area) instead of the Hanyu Parking Area. In this case, please note that the different rest area will not be a representation of an Edo Period town.

12.30 am: Arrive Nikko Toshogu Shrine (visit time 90 mins)

2.00 pm: Free purchase your own lunch

3.00 pm: Visit Lake Chuzenji

3.20 pm: Visit Kegon Falls.

4.30 pm: Tobu Nikko Station Drop-off

5.00 pm: Stop at Hanyu Parking Area (approx. 20 mins)

5.30 pm: Depart to Tokyo

7.00 pm: Tour ends at Shinjuku Station
