Spin through the scenic Bernese Oberland and visit the resort town of Interlaken. Discover the breathtaking landscape of the majestic Swiss Alps. Last but not least, explore the charming Swiss city of Lucerne before taking an incredible ride up Mount Titlis on an exciting tour.

Sightseeing

Day 1 - Arrive Zurich

On arrival at the Zurich Airport. Make your own arrangement to hotel and check in. Free at leisure.


Day 2 - Zurich City Highlights with Felsenegg Cable Car Ride (Half Day)

After breakfast, free at leisure. At 1pm, make your own arrangement to the Sihlquai Bus Terminal to meet your guide. Climb aboard a comfortable, air-conditioned coach in central Zurich and embark on a panoramic sightseeing tour of the city. 

Receive a historical introduction to Zurich from your guide and direct your attention to landmarks such as the Swiss National Museum and the Zurich Opera House. Look out at Lake Zurich during a brief interlude, and then cruise past monuments like the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology and Zurich’s art museum.

Disembark for a leisurely stroll around Zurich’s charming Old Town (Altstadt), and admire quaint houses and grand political centers. Capture photographs of the world’s largest clock face on St Peter’s Church, and gaze at the prismatic stained glass windows that decorate Fraumünster Church. 

Reboard your coach for the short and scenic journey to Meilen, where a sightseeing ferry awaits. Enjoy a tranquil crossing of the lake, and then board a cable car on arrival in Adliswil. Ascend to a dizzying height of 2,630 feet (800 meters) and absorb sweeping vistas of the snow-capped spires that surround. 

When your tour comes to a conclusion, return to your original Zurich departure point in a comfortable coach.

The rest of the day free at leisure.

Remark: Felsenegg cable car is closed on 25 February until 05 April 2019, and on these days it will be replaced by the Dolderbahn cogwheel train. The Dolderbahn cogwheel train take you to a viewpoint at the noble Zürichberg quarter offering superb views of the city, the surroundings and the snow-capped Alps.


Day 3 - Swiss Alps Tour: Jungfraujoch and Bernese Oberland (Full Day)

Enjoy breakfast in hotel. Greet your guide in Sihlquai Bus Terminal and climb aboard a comfortable coach destined for Grindelwald. Receive a fascinating introduction to the Bernese Oberland region as you travel through the beautiful countryside and then refresh with a hot beverage (own expense) during a brief interlude in Interlaken. 

Travel onward to Grindelwald to board the cogwheel train headed to one of Europe’s highest points. Marvel at dramatic mountain scenery during the 1.5-hour ride up the UNESCO-listed Jungfraujoch mountain pass, and scour the horizon for the jagged peaks of the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau mountains. 

On arrival at the 11,332-foot (3,454-meter) summit, gaze at mind blowing views of the Alpine wonderland below, and then ascend to the Sphinx Observatory for even more magnificent panoramas. Try to spot the craggy peak of the Aletsch Glacier, Europe’s longest glacier, and then explore the frozen tunnels of the Ice Palace during an enchanting guided tour. 

Opt to enjoy a fulfilling meal at one of the many rustic restaurants at the summit (own expense) and then re-board the train for the journey to Lauterbrunnen, where your coach awaits. Relax during the journey back to Zurich, where the tour concludes. 


Day 4 - Mount Titlis Day Tour from Zurich (Full Day)

Enjoy breakfast at your hotel. Depart from Sihlquai Bus Terminal in a comfortable, climate-controlled coach and relish scenic Swiss vistas as you travel along the shores of Lake Lucerne to the city of Lucerne. On arrival, enjoy some time at leisure and see popular landmarks like the Lion Monument, Rathaus (Town Hall) and Kapellbrücke (Chapel Bridge).

Continue by coach to Engelberg, a mountain resort cradled by the Swiss Alps. Climb aboard a Rotair, a rotating cable car that affords panoramic Alpine vistas, and ascend to a dizzying height of 10,623 feet (3, 238 meters).

Take in 360-degree views and then disembark at Mt Titlis’ snowy summit. Enjoy some free time to visit the magical Ice Palace and ride the Ice Flyer if weather allows in order to get closer to frozen crevices. Soar down a snow slide in Glacier Park and summon your courage to walk over Europe’s highest suspension bridge, the Titlis Cliff Walk.

Warm up with a steaming beverage (own expense) and then reconvene with your guide for the return journey to central Zurich. Returns to original departure point (Sihlquai Bus Terminal) at approximately 7pm.

In winter, from December to March choose the Snow Experience option! Your adventure will start in Trübsee station. Slide down the hill on snow tubes and try skiing once in a lifetime on the beginner slopes – definitely a memorable experience you shouldn't miss. A Titlis Snow Park staff member will provide the equipment and supervise the activities.


Day 5 - Free & Easy

Enjoy a leisurely breakfast at the hotel. This day is free for you to explore Zurich on own. You may head to Bahnhofstrasse for unlimited shopping opportunities Zurich has to offer. Alternatively, head to the Viadukt for some more affordable shopping, including the large indoor Market Hall, home to a varied farmer’s market, where you can sample and stock up on an array of tasty local produce. 

Optional - Rhine Falls Tour from Zurich (Half Day)

Marvel at the Rhine Falls of northern Switzerland on a 3.5-hour tour from Zurich by coach. In addition to free time to explore Europe's largest waterfall at your leisure, enjoy a photo stop outside the medieval Laufen Castle. On the return drive you’ll pass through Schaffhausen for a glimpse of Munot Fortress, built in the 16th century. During June to August, you have the option of a boat ride that brings you up close to Rhine Falls.



Day 6 - Depart Zurich

Enjoy a leisurely breakfast at the hotel. Depending on the time of your return flight, take a train, taxi or airport shuttle from the hotel to airport.
